Jason holds a Bachelors of Architecture as a 1997 graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program. He has served as an architect, project manager, designer and principal at local firms before joining to create Phoenix Architecture. As Director of Design, Jason is primarily responsible for master planning, zoning assistance, conceptual design, and presentation graphics. His background in production and detailing allows him to be involved in a project from initial concept through construction. His wide range of experience means your designs will be creative, well conceived, and appropriate to each individual client’s needs. He has worked on a variety of project types including office buildings, retail centers, corporate headquarters, hotels, condominiums, parking garages and large mixed-use projects. As a LEED AP, Jason is also responsible for meeting the sustainable goals of clients.
Outside of the office Jason's design sensibilities are also expressed in fine art photography through his compnay Inner Imagery. Jeff Osterman, RA
Registered Architect: Ohio
After graduating from Duke University’s Trinity College of Management Sciences, Jeff pursued an Architectural degree from the DAAP College of Design at the University of Cincinnati. In 1986 Jeff became a registered Architect in the State of Ohio. He has collaborated for over 26 years with Tom Schweer, and for more than 13 years with Jason Williams.
Always a team-builder, Jeff’s focus as a project manager has been problem solving, construction detailing and ensuring building code compliance. He has excelled in numerous roles as needs have arisen, including space planning, construction documents, and contract administration. He has been responsible for developing staff training and standards, and for the mentoring of younger associates. Varied project experience includes automotive dealerships, corporate headquarters, office, hospitality, multi-unit residential, retail and educational buildings, as well as numerous interior build-outs and specialty projects.
When away from the office, Jeff’s three sons keep him busy with multiple sports and activities. Personal interests include volleyball, swimming and photography.
Tom is a seasoned Space Planner with over 36 years experience in office, medical, and retail planning. As a dedicated “hands-on” enthusiastic professional, you’ll find him easy to work with as he guides you through the programming, schematic design and final construction detail process. As Director of Space Planning, you’ll understand that Tom’s attention to detail, efficient planning and his ability to listen to the client’s needs and
concerns are why he is regarded as a leader in his profession.
Tom’s list of satisfied clients include everything from independent shop owners to Fortune 500 Companies. He has successfully planned nearly 2000 spaces ranging from small 1200 SF design-build tenant spaces to large 200,000 SF design-bid Corporate Headquarters.
His education includes St. Xavier High School (1971) and the University of Cincinnati (1977) - DAAP Bachelor of Architecture Program.
Off the job, Tom stays busy keeping up with his three sons. He has received several awards at local arts and craft shows for stained glass.
Amy Osterman, RA
Registered Architect: Ohio
Amy Osterman earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. She has been employed as an Architect and production manager for an architectural firm specializing in residential and commercial work. Working at this firm afforded her the opportunity to be responsible for all aspects of the architectural process. Her duties included zoning review, design development, building code compliance, and production.
Amy has experience in design development and production of single-family residences, multi-family townhouses, high-rise condominiums, retail facilities, offices and hotels. She has also worked extensively in adapting existing structures into new residential and commercial uses.
